Default Mustang HO Intercooled.

Hello, I have a 2006 Mustang GT with Whipple HO intercooled supercharger, My first impression, after the installation It performed a brutal power, I come noticing, for some months, that the car does not have so much power as before, the access to the dyno this one very far. I have the pulley of 3.125 installed. He would be grateful they could indicate me, it forms of verifying the power, for exm., times of recovery between speeds, 3ª 80 Km/H to 120 Km/H., 4ª 80 Km/H to 120 Km/H., 5ª 80 Km/H to 120 Km/H., Or the test that yours. consider to be opportune. Thank you for his attention.

The easiest way is to fax or email your order in directly to Whipple. Did you get a parts list with your kit that had the part numbers on it? It's been literally a decade since I bought my last complete Whipple kit and I recall it having a parts list like that. On the Web Site there is a form you can download to place your order.

Default Oil Leak

Mike

You and i have talked before on the phone when I first bought my S/C of course you won't recall. I bought the S/C in 07 it is for an 04 F150 4X4. I just had it installed 5 days ago ( life got in the way ) Had a custom tune applied all is well except it leaks oil @ the pulley. What a disappointment. Is this a common problem with the 2,3L? What needs to happen to repair can't have oil spitting all over my S/C. Is it a big job? Is it critical or straight forward can it be done by a good mechanic or does it need to go back to you guys? I realize that I stored it for 4 yrs before installing is their any warranty relief? Parts?

My first trip with the S/C installed was pulling my holiday trailer which is why we got the S/C. I found that when pulling fairly hard in 1st that there is a large pause between the shift to 2nd. It seems to be worse the first pull of the day it just drops out and you have to wait for it to catch its breath so to speak. Also I found that traveling over rough ground with very little throttle caused a hesitation and it put us into error codes the first one was Engine Fail Safe = Throttle Actuator next was a misfire on #1 cyld. Engine temp was 194 - Trans temp 189. Outside temp 95F. Cleared the codes and away we went on level smooth ground all is well any suggestions?

Of course the serious question is the oil leak and what has to be done to fix.

Regards
Leon

I have a f150 2004 with a wipple supercharger installed. I had it dyno'd (410 hp) and was told that it was starving for fuel around 3500 rpm and that I should have 39-48 lb injectors installed. I had 39 lb injectors installed and now I have no boost? the boost gauge reads
-10 at idle and -5 to -10 at WOT. No power, but it idles OK? What should I look for; could the by-pass valve be stuck ?
