Default Carb'd SBC Whipple help

Hello, I have been attempting to gather information as to the exact hood requirements I will need in order to bolt on the non-intercooled 200R Whipple onto my carburetor fed small block 406.

This engine is in a 73 Camaro where engine to hood clearance is at a premium. I did however just purchase a 3.5" cowl hood for it in an effort to conceal the blower, carb, and air cleaner. Curious as to whether or not this is enough?

I found this car with a Whipple installed on a SBC but have not been able to speak directly to the owner or contact him....any help???

70 Camaro - Whipple supercharger Garlits Streetcatcher enclosed holley carb

I basically need to know the exact height of the blower(non intercooled)from the base to the top to include a Holley carburetor. I have found on the site the dimensions for a BBC but don't know if they are the same for SBC.

Thanks, Ray.

Wow, this place is dead.

I thought the guys at Whipple would have jumped in for some info.

I have found on the website the height listed for the BBC blower; 12" for the inter-cooled version.

Sorry. I wouldve answered sooner if I saw the thread. This place is pretty quiet most of the time.
