Yeah, she goes alright for a six... hahah

I kept into it after the tyres popped coz I only heard one bang. I wasn't about to leave the job half done... Little did I know both popped at the same time.

LOL,

There is these tar strips with an alloy foil backing above the exhaust pipes that the factory installs. I guess they are there for heat reflection and sound abosorbtion. They started to melt from the heat of the exhaust and were dripping onto the exhaust that were glowing orange. As it was hitting the exhaust it was igniting and dripping onto the ground. Also the Steering rack boot was smouldering... LOL

I tell you what though, that fire extinguisher stuff has to be the most unkind thing to use on the car. It rusted up everything!!! Brake lines, everybolt outside of the car. I'll be using it very sparingly in the unlucky event that I should require one in the future.

Engine Type: L67

Engine Mods:
-Pro Stroke 4.2L race bottom end, basicly stock heads atm (waiting for other options) with a custom grind Ivan Tighe cam, YT 1.7 UL.
-YT custom W2A cooler with TRK icebox.
-Whipple 3.3L Radial blower from YT.
-Edelbrock 2000CFM four barrel TB.
-TRK surge tank and fuel system, modified YT fuel rails, twin Bosch 044s, dual 1/2" fuel lines and Edelbrock EFI regulator, with Sard 800cc injectors.
-YT billet 8 rib pulley kit.
-EMS 8860 ECU, with MSD coilpacks and leads.


Power: 400rwhp so far.

Exhaust: Custom TRK 2" primary ceramic coated extractors and 4" collectors, dual 4" Catco race cats with a dual 3" X-Force stainless system for street.

Gearbox: Stock for now bar a corvette servo and a manual valve body.

Diff: 3.73 with standard/shimmed LSD

Brakes: F - HSV Harrop 4 spots and 343 rotors. R - Standard

Suspension: F&R - KYB AGX shocks with king springs.

Wheels/Tyres: DTM 19"

Interior: Carbon dash, Carbon Pro ratchet shifter, Standard leather for now
Other Mods: Engine bay detailing, TRK custom hump in bonnet

Stereo:Alpine CVA-1005R Monitor
-Alpine 5205 DVD player
-Alpine PXA-H510 Digital audio processor/EQ
-Alpine 6 stacker CD
-Alpine MRV-1507 2 channel
-Alpine MRV-F407 4 channel
-MTX 6000 5 1/4" spilts for the front stage
-MTX 6000 6 1/2" splits for the front stage
-Pioneer 8" 3 way coax for the rear fill
-Soundstream SPL 15s 2 of taking care of the bass
-Stinger HPM 1 farad cap
-Stinger power and RCA cabling
-Stinger power distibution blocks and battery terminals.
-Stinger fusing
-Optic fiber cables from Stacker and DVD to Audio processor.
