08' 2.9L Whipple car runs 9.96@142.73mph

Lethal Performance customer Chris H. broke into the 9's last night at Palm Beach International Raceway. He's got one of the first 2.9L Whipple kits and did all the work himself. He's running UPR's drag suspension and the car was tuned by Jon Lund. The car ran the 9 second pass with some N20 on 93 octane with Torco. LOL

Wow,just wow. How much does that tang weigh and what hp/tq at the drums? That would be fracken awsome if I could get My 2.9L too push my lead sled in the 9's.
