Default Killed the G80...detroit installed!!

So whooda thunk-it, Kiled the ole factory diff in short order...
too many >



But all is fixed... with a detroit locker...



Only thing I gotta do now is get longer mudflaps to keep the rubber from sticking to the fenders....lol

Bummer! I would have liked to.
I am trying to remember if I've ever heard of anyone breaking a 10.5" G80. I don't think so. Impressive!
I broke Tahoe's 8.5" G80 in April 2002, have been running a 10.5" rear since.

i think my detroit was about 500 bucks or so, you can order them from randys ring and pinion for about 450.


my only complaint it the extra "play" it has internally, the gears are so agressive, in cunjuction with the shift kit in my trans it makes the annoying clunk when putting it in gear. but she does work well!
