Default Hello and has any run a 305 or a 510 on the drag strip yet

Hey there, Just wondering if any one has switched over from a big roots to big whipple and ran at track yet. Mabe I'll be the first.540 with 1071 9.21@148 [IMG][/IMG]

I've never seen a 305 on a car. Only seen them on boat motor which were on motor stands. None the less I'd love to see one in action at the track. The W210 is a beast in itself. I could only imagine how the big ole 305 would perform.

Guess you'll have to show us how it's done!! LOL

I have to believe that the bigger units would really shine at the track. A lot of those brute force GMC derived blowers belong in the Smithsonian.
