Default New project

Just picked up a used whipple for my 96 350 vortec. I was told the whipple tronics are touchy. So we are converting the truck to new style computer (0411 swap) from a 2001-2002 3500 van. Installing a vortec marine intake with 24lbs. injectors. Was wondering if anyone has this set up? Also if anyone is using their truck as a tow vehicle with this blower, any forseen problems? Thanks. Scott

should run very well i had a buddy that did the same thing with the intake but ran 42lb injectors you may not get enough fuel out of the 24lb and he used his same computer, his truck was a 99 crew cab shortbed 3/4 ton 4x4 ran a 14.5 in the 1/4 mile and pulled like a beast

Default GMC p/u super charger

/could anyone give me a little advice. I recently bought a gmc sle 1500 p/u. The kid I bought it from said he had Monster Truck in Florida buid the trany for it. 2 weeks later I lost 3rd gear (automatic). The trany hot light came on and before I could pull over safely the red light came on to idle engine soon. I let it idle for about 10 minutes and the light went out. As I proceded home I noticed 3rd gear not kicking in right. Checked the fluid and found out that the drain plug had been leaking and it was quite low. Now when it shifts out of 2nd it won't shift into 3rd. When it tries I don't like the little noise it makes. I recently bought a stock trany used. My uestion is can I drive the truck without jumping into the Super Charger with this trany or would I be better off putting in the convertor from the other one.
