Default 1UZ-FE V8 swaped Whipple charged Toyota Supra

Engine...

Toyota 1UZ-FE Quad Cam V8
4.0 90 Deg Aluminum V8. as 250HP 260TQ stock, makes power between 1000 RPM and 7000 RPM and revs to 9000 RPM. 6 bolt forged mains, forged crank, forged sintered rods, cast hyperutenic pistons and balanced within 5 grams all from the factory.

The Boost...

Custom made Whipple supercharger setup that I machined using a W1600AX.
Dyno runs made on a Dino Mite dyno put me at 260WHP, 270TQ. Not bad for my little 1600ax. The stock tiny tube headers and luxury car cam are rely holding the engine back. $1100 will get me a set of kelford supercharger cams and Rick at bald turbo freak racing is going to make me a set of long tube headers. Larger whipple will make more boost and a 1.5" gilmer drive conversion from New Zealand will increase my crank pulley from 5.5" to what looks like maybe 6.5" or larger. The stock 1uzfe crank pulley is so small that even with a 3" pulley on the charger I can only spin it up to a little over half its maximum rpm. So at the moment its only making like 5 to 6 PSI max. Looking to get the W200ax or the W245AX so I can up the boost to around 20 PSI.

The Car...

1986.5 Toyota Supra
1988 R154 supra turbo tranny
custom fly wheel that i designed
stage 3 clutch setup
custom 1 piece driveshaft shop drive shaft
custom made motor mounts
Phoenix tuning custom engine harness
New 1JZ bell housing from Toyota
Custom adapter plate from "Cowboy Bebop"
440cc Injectors
FF dynamics radiator and fans
Spec stage 3 clutch
Megasquirt 2 V3.57
Innovative LC1 wide band O2
Custom coil on plug conversion
Sleepy eye headlight mod (done proper) with Hella triple projector setup
lots of other little stuff

The rear sump Engine from a Soaror/SC400 fits in the supra perfectly. Toyota could have totally used this v8 in the supra to start with. The 1UZ is also about 150 pounds lighter than the 7M that I took out. As far as I know This is the second 1UZ-FE MK3 supra swap in the USA and the first with a twin screw

Hi, my name is Michael. I'm a sc400 owner. I post a bit on clublexus.com.

Scotturnot has a 4.7 with 4.0 liter heads and a whipple. Its a sweet build.

I just picked up a 140ax that i want to adapt to my 1uz.

Did you use a richwood manifold? None of the pictures work for me.

Where are you located?
