Hey prorat56 thanks for the reply, I'm in Pa . When hooked up to the emissions test the truck was reading not ready the same way it does on some other models so I'm told so they then told me to drive it at least 50 miles to re - educate the computer ( the battery did completely die prior. I've driven it a 1000 miles so this is not the case. ) Since I first posted the truck is still at the chevy dealer ( they're being pretty good.) As of today Mike at Whipple told them to unplug the efi box let it sit and then replug it in and test it. This worked the emissions readings started showing up, all was good but then they disconnected the emissions computer and bang the check engine light is now on. ( this light has never come on and stayed on.) Truck still runs fine, but no inspection.) I'am waiting to hear from Mike if I send the efi box back for the update and get a Diablo can I cure this problem. Thanks again, Davin
