Shelby 2.9L Kit is Alive!!

The 2.9L is alive!!!!!

First full pull, 653rwhp, 16.5psi, 3.25" SC pulley, 16deg timing, 11.2:1 AF. 598rwtq with motor at 185deg F. Needs to be leaned up and given a bit more timing as well as get the temps down, should be around 675rwhp with 3.25" pulley, 91 octane when done. No fan running in front of motor and the dyno room is 87deg F.

Additional testing at Whipple's facility showed just how potent the 2.9L is. On an almost stock car the 2.9L made 676rwhp at 16.5lbs of boost.

108 IAT2, 159 ECT, Dyno temp (right next to car) 93.36deg F, 29.87in-hg, humidity 12%, SAE 1.00. 20deg timing. Dustin's going to try going to 11.8 (now between 11.0-11.2) and 1-2deg more timing to see how the car reacts.
