I'm not ready to surrender to a solid axle. I've got some BMR stubs and halfshafts and a better driveshaft waiting in the wings, although the rubber donuts are probably why I haven't broken the rear. For me the charm of the GTO / Monaro is as a luxury GT with a lot of refinement. I'll keep it civilized, and for a dragster, I've always had a soft spot for a 71 Monte Carlo or a 67 Nova.
