NOW they sell it....
Last summer I bought and installed a non intercooled FRRP (Whipple) non intercooled kit in my 2006 Mustang GT automatic. I have been very happy with it and I can say as a 20 year tech at a Ford dealer, it is a quality kit, especially compared to the competition's. Now, a year later, Ford is selling an INTERCOOLED kit for automatics. (475 HP) Last year autos could only get non intercooled through Ford's catalog. I contacted them asking if they would be willing to sell the parts necessary to upgrade to intercooled. (This would be mostly comprised of the parts from their "big boost" kit and a new tune for my Ford programmer) I was told no, not at this time. Very disappointing. SO - would Whipple be willing to sell an upgrade package or do they know of one coming in the future?
