Pinging issue

I just had a HO kit installed on my 06GT and am having some pinging issues. Most noticeable under 3k rpm...could be doing it at higher rpm but can't hear it over supercharger whine. Moderate or hard throttle. Any ideas on what to do? Have there been any issues with the tune from Ford?

never heard of any pinging? how many miles on the car.

38000 miles. Had kit put on about 2000 miles ago. Just got an updated calibration from ford racing which does do something to eliminate the ping (with octane adjust to yes) but notice a serious power loss to accomplish this. Not smooth driveability at all. Really getting disappointed.
