i like the fact that it is quiet. either that or my exhaust is too loud. sort of makes it the loudest sleeper. lol.

A lot of people like the whine of the SC, I understand that, it's personal preference I suppose. That being said, any noise, or heat, etc. is wasted energy IMHO. Quiet = efficient = better me thinks!
